We are so excited that you have decided to further your education, and we want to ensure that you are successful in your journey. Below you will find the applicant requirements, as well as how to submit your application. Please read the below information in it's entirety to ensure your eligibility and proper submission. REQUIREMENTS:

-Must be a High School Senior entering a 4 year College or University in Fall 2019.

​

-Applicant must be a member of a church that is currently a member of HMET.

Each applicant should be an active member of their church.

​

-Applicants must have maintained an A or B average. A transcript must be uploaded via application as proof of scholastic achievement.

​

-Applicants must submit 2 letters of Recommendation - one letter must be from your Pastor.

​

-Applicants must submit an essay (500 words) - "Why Should I Receive the H.M.B.M.C. Scholarship?"

​

- Only one applicant per church is eligible to receive the scholarship. If multiple applicants are received from one church, the best applicant will be chosen.

We will no longer accept paper applications or supporting documents.

If you have read the scholarship guidelines in its entirety, and have all of your supporting documents, then you are ready to begin your application!

Helpful Hint: If you do not have access to a scanner to upload the requested documents, you can download a scanner app on your Smart Phone. This will allow you to upload the necessary documents. Once the app has been downloaded, scan and upload documents. The document can then be uploaded from your photo library ( this only works if you complete the application via a tablet or smartphone). You can also email the scanned documents to yourself and upload the document via your desktop.
